My two year old niece recognized the famous McDonald’s M on one of those placement ads surrounding The Johannesburg Soccer Stadium. She got very excited and started screaming “I want McDonalds” repeatedly. Congratulations America, you have won.

So there are Non-Avian Dinosaurs (Reptilia) and Avian-Dinosaurs (Maniraptors) which are birds. Birds can also be classified as “reptiles”, because they are one of two descendant of Archosauria (a type of dinosaur). Reptiles (reptilia) are a subcald of Amniota, -its not a true clad like the: mammalian and avian clad- which the cladist suggest we call them “’non-avian, non-mammalian amniotes” not reptiles, because the word “reptile” can be applied to both the avian and mammalian clad as they both are descendant from them. In other words, there is no specific term for non-avian, non-mammalian creatures :(
